  • A shock treatment is used to kill bacteria, while cleaning agents remove biofilm from the plumbing and shell. If the surface feels rough, a descaler is also applied for a smooth finish.
  • Spa pumps / blowers are turned on to run for at least 1 hour to allow the cleaners to do their work.
  • After flushing, the hot tub / swim spa is turned off and drained. A surface cleaned applied and the acrylic shell cleaned and rinsed.
  • Filters cleaned.
  • Cover Cleaned and treated (subject to dry weather)

  • All pump and heater unions are disconnected to allow water to fully drain.
  • All jets are removed, inspected and cleaned. Over time jets can become brittle and break due to age, incorrect chemical use and water temperature. If this is the case, they will not be removed and customer advised.
  • Pipework hoovered to remove water.
  • A check list / report is given to the customer.
