  • A shock treatment and cleaning agent are added to eliminate bacteria and biofilm from the plumbing and shell. Descaler is used if the surface feels rough.
  • Pumps and blowers run for at least 1 hour to circulate the cleaners.
  • Accessible panels are removed to inspect internal plumbing and components.
  • The systems are tested. Pumps, blowers, audio system, and LES’s.
  • Heater and pump unions are tightened; worn seals are replaced.

  • Steps are cleaned.
  • The cover is deep cleaned both inside and on the top.
  • After flushing, the spa is drained, surface cleaner applied, and the shell cleaned and rinsed.
  • Filter/s removed, cleaned and replaced.
  • All jets are removed, inspected and cleaned. Over time jets can become brittle and break due to age, incorrect chemical use and water temperature. If this is the case, they will not be removed and customer advised.
  • A wet vacuum is used to remove sand and grit from the thread of the jet and as much water from the internal pipework as possible.

  • With the jets removed, the seal between the acrylic/shell and the jet body can be inspected.
  • Jets fitted back in the hot tub / swim spa.
  • Hot tub / swim spa refilled. Swim Spa will need 2 visits.
  • Once filled, all systems re-tested and pumps checked for airlocks.
  • A treatment is applied to the cover (leatherette only) and panels. This helps to moisturise and protect. This can only be done in dry weather.
  • A check list / report is given to the customer.
